Uttarakhand technical university has declared the dates for the state counselling on the basis on AIEEE marks of the candidates. The Online Counselling for top ranked university of India will start from 27th June 2012 respectively.

Uttarakhand technical University will conduct a two stage counselling, on the basis of the marks or rank acquired by candidates in AIEEE exams. The admission will be held in various govt ,semi govt or private institutes affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University(UTU).

How to register online for Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) counselling 2012
As mentioned above UTU online counselling will done via UTU official Website from 27 july 2012 onwards. Below are few steps a candidate should followto register online for Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) counselling 2012
- Download the challan from the website UTU official Website.
- Make the payment of Rs 1050 as counselling fees to any SBI Bank using that downloaded challan and note down your transaction ID.
- Register yourself on the counselling website using your transaction ID and by filling the details properly.
- Fill your desired college and complete the online UTU counselling 2012 procedure.
After the seat allotment, candidates can download the allotment letter from the website and that letter will be used at the time of the document verification at the allotted college.
UTU Counselling 2012 – Two Stage Online Counselling are as follows:
First stage counselling: The first stage counselling will begin from 27th June to 4th July, candidates will have to register them self first by paying a challan of Rs. 1050. Online registration and choice filling can be done from 2 July, 2012 to 7 July, 2012 for first phase. Colleges will be allotted to candidates on 10 July, 2012. After that students can verify their documents in allotted college from 11th July, 2012 to 15, July 2012.
Second Stage counselling: The second stage counselling will begin from 16th July and will end on 31st July 2012. Candidate who are not satisfied with the allotted college in first stage, he/she can sit in second stage, in the same way as first stage, candidate will have to register again and do the choice filling and rest process. The second stage counselling will be the last and final stage and after that they will have to select one college from the allotted ones.

sir my rank is 13429 gen and i m 4m up.acc.to last year cut off i got dce wid lower brnchs.and nit suhktrakal,trichy,calicut,allahbad,warangal,but wid lower brnchs like chem,civil,prod,metall,IT,and i decided to take IT in my home state nit.do u think is IT a gud brnch to opt 4.and what abt civil,chemical 4m top nit is this degree has value in market as cse,ece,mech,student has in market.and what abt there placement in these nit. and also pls tell me abt similarity bw cs and IT and also abt instrumentation and control branch at nit trichy its placement,lab,etc.and acc. to last year cut off i hope 2 get software engineering at dce tell me pls what this brnch is all abt is it same as cse or IT.pls rply waited.thnx in advance so many question hope i’ll get satisfied wid ur answer.
